Tickle Me Elmo Gifts are no laughing matter
Tickle Me Elmo is causing great pain this holiday season as thousands of people fighting to get the next shipment of TMX Elmo. It’s been 10 years since the Tickle Me Elmo craze swept the nation, and is again the must-have toy this Christmas.
A crowd of 300 stampeded into the Fredericton, N.B. Wal-Mart. The mob encircled a store clerk like sharks in a feeding frenzy, then attacked from all sides. They mauled and trampled the clerk, tearing away pieces of his clothing. He suffered a pulled hamstring, a concussion, broken ribs, and injuries to his back, jaw and knees.
Tickle Me Elmo SOLD OUT
TMX Elmos, or “Tickle Me Elmo Extreme,” have been selling out at local stores just minutes after it appears on store shelves. 50 TMX Elmos went within the first 10 minutes at Toys ‘R’ Us in Janesville, Wisconsin.
TMX Elmo’s Stolen
The Elmo frenzy gets worse as a shipment of this year’s hottest Christmas toy TMX Elmo was stolen from Walmart on October 31st. The shipment of more than 100 T.M.X. Elmo dolls, disappeared en route to a Wal-Mart store in Bentonville, Ark.
Elmo on Drugs?
Elmo’s not laughing when a Denver Colorado drug ring was busted for stashing meth inside the furry red creature. In late October officials found more than 45 pounds of methamphetamine inside a TMX Elmo doll. The leader of the drug ring was using Elmo to hide and ship their drugs.
